Visioneers founder Chris DeGrego spent many years installing security systems for his employers, and he began noticing gaps between what he wanted to provide and what he was providing for customers. His solution was to open Visioneers Security.

Customized solutions based on product, need and budget

As technology, including artificial intelligence and augmented reality, has played a larger role in security, the proper integration of systems—audio, video surveillance, lighting, fire, etc.—is both more complex and critical. “Products, customer needs and budgets vary. We take all of these into account and customize systems. Our personalized service includes regular follow-up, longer than average warranty period (three years parts and lifetime installation), same-day or next-day service, and all calls returned within the same day. From the beginning, our mission has been to provide our customers with great value, seamless integration, and personalized service, and we’ve never wavered.”

A career shaped by time in the United States Marines

Chris spent four years in the Marine Corps, stationed in Somalia. His military service has helped shape him and influence his career path. “Service is an important part of the military ethic and helping protect people gives me the same kind of satisfaction I felt while I was in the service. I’ve worked for a range of security companies, from small family-owned businesses to large multinationals, and I’ve learned from all of these experiences.”

Along the way Chris earned a degree in computer information systems with a concentration in network infrastructure and administration. With low-voltage systems (access control, video surveillance, security systems, audio, and video systems) being network dependent, Chris knew it was necessary to develop a deep understanding of how to utilize these systems correctly on his customers’ networks.
